MICROIP Focuses on Edge AI at COMPUTEX 2026, Debuting "AI Vehicle System Business Group" for the First Time

News Release
2026-05-28

MICROIP (TPEx: 7796), a company specializing in AI software design services and ASIC design services, announced that it will publicly unveil its "AI Vehicle System Business Group" for the first time at COMPUTEX 2026, officially entering the automotive edge AI and smart safety application market. Echoing the COMPUTEX 2026 theme "AI Together," MICROIP's exhibition focuses on edge AI, smart mobility, and cross-platform AI integrated applications. In addition to showcasing AI automotive recognition and multi-channel safety monitoring solutions, the company will simultaneously exhibit the dual AI software platforms AIVO and XEdgAI, along with the latest collaboration achievements in the edge AI ecosystem, demonstrating to the world MICROIP's one-stop complete solution for edge AI, from chips and hardware systems to software application research and development.

MICROIP will exhibit grandly at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 (Booth A1215a), debuting the "AI Vehicle System Business Group" and the AIVO and XEdgAI dual software platforms for the first time.

Edge AI Enters the Implementation Stage: MICROIP Sets the Tone with "Software Driving Hardware"

Facing the explosive growth of edge AI applications, MICROIP Chairman Dr. James Yang pinpointed the current industry situation: "The market previously dominated by hardware in the tech industry is welcoming a crucial turning point. In the future, software design services will act as the leading sheep in the edge AI market, driving the sales and popularization of hardware." Chairman Dr. Yang also emphasized that the biggest challenge for edge AI implementation is often not the level of AI computing power, but the accuracy of the AI algorithms themselves and the "process fragmentation" between software development workflows and underlying heterogeneous hardware. The core of future competition will depend on who can deeply integrate hardware, software, and field requirements. This is exactly MICROIP's core advantage in helping customers transform AI into substantial commercial value.

"AI Vehicle System Business Group" Exposed for the First Time, Tapping into Smart Automotive Safety Applications

To concretely implement the concept of "software driving hardware" in the edge AI field, MICROIP is publicly unveiling its "AI Vehicle System Business Group" for the first time at this exhibition, officially entering the smart automotive safety and edge AI vehicle application market. On-site, the company will showcase flagship automotive hardware featuring automatic calibration capabilities, combined with AI algorithms trained on integrated databases covering diverse ethnicities and all-weather conditions. This provides "triple safety protection," including front-vehicle traffic light recognition, rear-vehicle blind spot warning, and in-cabin driver fatigue and anti-cheating detection, while supporting a 360-degree all-vehicle multi-channel AI recognition system and real-time monitoring. MICROIP stated that these solutions can be further applied in fields such as smart fleet management, commercial vehicle safety monitoring, and smart transportation, assisting enterprises in enhancing driving safety, management efficiency, and AI implementation benefits.

AIVO and XEdgAI Dual Platforms Strengthen Cross-Hardware AI Deployment Capabilities

To solve the pain points of fragmented edge AI hardware devices and development processes, MICROIP thoroughly breaks down the barriers between AI applications and hardware through two major AI software design platforms: AIVO and XEdgAI.

The system-level AI vision platform "AIVO" not only features an intuitive, no-code, drag-and-drop graphical interface for AI software design but will also demonstrate real-machine applications in three major fields. These include the "Public Transportation AI Real-Time Monitoring and Warning System" capable of simultaneously detecting diverse abnormal behaviors and dangerous items; the "AI Smart Drone System" equipped with AI autonomous flight control and 3D map modeling capabilities; and the "Smart Factory SOP AI Monitoring System," which has already been implemented in multiple sites globally to help production lines precisely control operational processes and quality, demonstrating extremely high application flexibility.

Meanwhile, to eliminate the complex limitations of hardware platforms, MICROIP is launching the one-stop end-to-end AI software service platform "XEdgAI." This platform highly streamlines the development process and can be deployed across mainstream AI chip platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson, Intel Core Ultra, and Axelera AI Metis, reducing the vendor lock-in risks for enterprises when adopting edge AI. Customers only need a few simple steps to seamlessly deploy AI models to various edge devices, significantly shortening time-to-market.

AI EDA Tool Integration Shortens ASIC Development Timelines

As edge AI applications continue to expand, the market demand for low-power, high-efficiency, and customized chip designs is simultaneously heating up. While advancing AI software system applications, MICROIP also continues to deeply cultivate underlying chip design. Its "CATS Customized ASIC Technology and Solutions" continues to deeply integrate the group's internal AI EDA tools: the "ETAL Intelligent Design Tool" can reduce manual IP connection workload by up to 60%; and the "iPROfiler™ Performance Analysis Platform" can automatically optimize chip design performance, assisting R&D teams in shortening the chip time-to-market by 6 to 9 months.

MICROIP Partners with AAEON and BrainChip to Expand Edge AI Ecosystem Collaboration

Propelling the edge AI industry forward requires strong ecosystem support. On the system integration front, MICROIP has officially launched a vertical integration strategic partnership with industrial PC major AAEON. The two parties will jointly demonstrate AAEON's RT-621R rackmount industrial chassis combined with MICROIP's AIVO "SOP Monitoring and Inspection Application" at the exhibition, helping enterprises monitor production line cycle times in real-time and establish error-proofing mechanisms. Furthermore, MICROIP announced a strategic partnership with BrainChip, a U.S. pioneer in neuromorphic AI chips, to jointly invest in the development of low-power AI models and tactical edge radar classification technology, expanding the application footprint of advanced AI computing architectures.

Responding to the market demand for customized chip design and AI hardware-software integration, MICROIP will continue its "Free ASIC Design Technical Consulting Service" during COMPUTEX 2026, providing enterprises with exclusive PPA (Power, Performance, Area) optimization analysis to assist customers in evaluating the feasibility of integrating AI and customized chip applications.

MICROIP's COMPUTEX 2026 exhibition area is located at Booth A1215a in Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, running from June 2 to 5, 2026. The site will comprehensively showcase the AI vehicle system, the AIVO and XEdgAI dual AI software platforms, CATS customized ASIC design services, and the latest edge AI ecosystem collaboration achievements, demonstrating MICROIP's technical strength and application layout in the field of AI hardware-software integration.
